American Traveler is hiring a Travel Ambulatory Endoscopy Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week assignment at an ambulatory surgery center in San Marcos, TX.

Details

• Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting specializing in endoscopy procedures
• 4x10 shifts with start times varying between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM based on daily caseload
• Typically approximately 30 cases performed per day
• Rotation of shifts and on-call assignments required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of endoscopy or OR experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• GI certification from SGNA Associates preferred
• Experience with sterile field setup, case pulling, and assisting in endoscopy procedures required
• Knowledge of sterilization methods, aseptic techniques, and endoscopy instruments required
• License required if applicable
• Active (non-expired) copies of all certifications required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• US Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assists with coordination of patient care in the endoscopy department, including preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment and supplies
• Provides direct and assistive patient care services prior to and during endoscopic procedures
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
