American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a high-capacity hospital OR Float position with a rotating 4x10 Day/Evening schedule.

Details

• Hospital OR Float unit assignment
• 4x10 Day/Evening rotation schedule with the possibility of evenings becoming a primary shift based on skill needs
• Evening shifts scheduled 1p-11p
• Day shifts scheduled 7a-5:30p Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 9a-7:30p Wednesday
• Includes 2 weeks of night shifts during the contract
• At least 2 short-call shifts required every 4-week schedule along with weekend coverage
• Weekend shifts are scheduled as 12-hour shifts, with 8 or 10-hour shifts scheduled that same week to meet contracted hours
• Uses Epic for charting
• 13-week contract length

Requirements

• NBSTSA or NCCT Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Experience in a high-capacity operating room required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility may be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
