American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist with 3+ years of experience and RDCS or CCI certification to perform cardiac diagnostic testing in a hospital echocardiography lab.

Details

• Work in a hospital echocardiography laboratory setting
• Monday-Friday schedule with day shift hours
• 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Rotational weekend shifts required
• Holiday shifts negotiable
• Cross-training to other divisions of CV Services may be required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Echo Tech experience
• Associate's Degree in Ultrasound required
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)(ARDMS) OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCI) required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• License required if applicable
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow

Additional Information

• Oversee technical procedures, patient care, and workflows within the echocardiography lab
• Perform routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures following departmental guidelines
• Assist performing physicians and sonographers in delivering high-quality echocardiographic exams
• Critique positioning, technical factors, and alignment to maintain acceptable imaging quality standards
• Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to assess and improve the work environment
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
