American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist with 3+ years of experience and RDCS or CCI certification to perform diagnostic cardiac sonography in a hospital echocardiography lab.

Details

• Work in a hospital echocardiography laboratory within Cardiovascular Services
• Monday-Friday day shift schedule
• 8 hour shifts, 5 days per week, totaling 40 hours weekly
• Rotational weekend shifts required
• Holiday shifts negotiable
• EPIC charting system used

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Echo Tech experience required
• Associate's Degree in Ultrasound required
• RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI certification required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• License required if applicable
• Strong ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks and patient flow
• Positive attitude with a proven ability to assess and improve the work environment

Additional Information

• Perform routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures following departmental guidelines
• Critique image positioning, technical factors, and alignment to maintain quality imaging standards
• Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness
• Document exams accurately and completely
• Cross-train across other divisions of Cardiovascular Services
• Assist performing physicians and sonographers in delivering high-quality echocardiographic exams
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
