Description

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a high-volume main surgical unit position requiring candidates to reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Details

• Main surgical unit open 24/7 with a daily case volume ranging from 28 to 55 cases
• Heavy service line volume in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Urology, General, and Thoracic Surgery
• Unit operates 3 Da Vinci XI robotic systems supporting General, Urology, and Thoracic service lines
• 12-hour day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday, with a rotating mix of 6:45a–7:15p and 10:45a–7:15p start times
• 3 shifts per week on a 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Surgical Technologist license required if applicable
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (must not be expired)
• Demonstrated experience as a Surgical Technologist across multi-specialty surgical service lines
• Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break before being considered
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is accepted
• AHA certifications must be current and unexpired at time of submission
• EMR experience should be listed as part of your work history
