American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and prior travel experience for a 13-week acute care assignment in California.

Details

• Acute care hospital mammography unit
• Performs tomosynthesis (tomo) mammography studies and assists radiologists with stereotactic biopsy procedures
• Average of 15 cases per day
• Uses Merge PACS and Cerner EMR; Cerner experience is required
• Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• First to float when needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience
• Must have performed at least 200 mammograms within the past 2 years
• Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Active BLS certification required
• ARRT (M) - Mammography certification required
• CRT in Mammography (California) required
• Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted
• Active certifications required at time of consideration; pending certifications will not be accepted
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

• Perform tomosynthesis mammography studies and provide assistance to radiologists during stereotactic biopsy procedures

• 12-hour orientation included
• Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity Health, within the past year; candidates who worked PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
