American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist proficient in a broad range of surgical specialties — including general, vascular, thoracic, ortho, neuro, and trauma — with the ability to precept and take call.

Details

• Hospital OR setting with an 8-bed unit
• Required surgical specialties include general, GYN, vascular, thoracic, orthopedic (including total joints), neuro (head and spine), and trauma
• Preferred surgical specialties include C-sections, ENT, plastics, and DaVinci Robot
• Call availability is required for this position
• Facility-provided scrubs

Requirements

• Proficiency across required surgical specialties: general, GYN, vascular, thoracic, ortho (including total joints), neuro head and spine, and trauma
• Ability to work independently in the OR
• Ability to precept other surgical staff
• Willingness and availability to take call
• 2 recent supervisory references required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates must be able to precept other staff; precepting proficiency should be clearly documented
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
• Copies of all certifications must be included for consideration
