American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of open heart surgery experience for a 13-week CVOR travel assignment in Orlando, FL.

Details

• Hospital CVOR unit setting
• Patient population includes open heart surgery, heart failure cases, and lung and heart transplants
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per day, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with 36 hours per week
• Weekend availability is required
• On-call requirements apply
• No float requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in open heart surgery required
• Experience with heart failure cases required; lung and heart transplant experience preferred
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same travel rate — no radius rule applies
• Former permanent employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required, or an approved declination must be on file; booster is not currently required
• A copy of your COVID vaccination card will be needed for consideration
