American Traveler is hiring a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Special Procedures unit at a Level I Trauma, academic teaching hospital, working 4x10-hour day shifts Thursday through Sunday.

Details

• Level I Trauma, academic teaching hospital with 874 licensed beds, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center designation
• Interventional Radiology - Special Studies unit averaging 25–30 patients per day
• Patient population includes adults and pediatrics from the ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient settings across the full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses
• Equipment includes 1 Siemens single-plane, 2 Siemens bi-plane, and 1 Canon bi-plane systems
• EMR: Epic
• 4x10-hour day shifts, Thursday through Sunday, with no rotation between weekdays and weekends
• On-call is required and rotated fairly among full-time, part-time, PRN, and travel staff
• No floating required
• Holiday coverage is expected unless time off is approved in advance

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of IR/Special Procedures experience, with most recent experience within the last year
• Current BLS and ARRT-R certification required
• Active license required, if applicable
• Proficiency in a fast-paced, high-acuity interventional radiology environment
• Epic EMR experience
• 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Orientation includes a facility and departmental tour with introductions, plus up to 5 days of departmental orientation (flexible based on traveler needs)
