American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 2 years of OR experience to work in a fast-paced main operating room in Steamboat Springs, CO.

Details

• Main Operating Room setting serving a variety of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Robotics, Urology, GYN, C-Section, Endoscopy, and Trauma
• Two MPA rooms dedicated to Endoscopy and Cataract Surgery
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• On-call required per unit needs
• Weekend work required per unit needs
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Experience scrubbing a variety of surgical specialties
• DORA (Colorado) certification required; license required if applicable
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced OR environment
• Flexibility with assignments and on-call rotation

Additional Information

• Scrub a broad range of surgical cases across multiple specialties in a busy main OR
• Must be adaptable to varying assignments and on-call needs as determined by the unit
• Exact shift times will be confirmed during the interview process
• RTO is capped at 10 days for the duration of the assignment
• RTO is not permitted during the following blackout periods: June 28–July 9, September 2–September 12, and October 25–November 4
• This position is located in a high cost-of-living area — candidates are strongly encouraged to arrange housing prior to accepting an offer
