American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel contract with experience in Y-90 chemo delivery, GI bleeds, and vascular procedures, with first-time travelers welcome.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit in an acute care hospital setting
• 50/50 inpatient and outpatient patient mix
• Patient diagnoses include biopsies, GI, GU/Renal, peripheral vascular, pulmonary, CT, endovascular, and stent placement procedures
• Procedures include Y-90 chemo delivery, GI bleed management, TPA administration, vein sampling, and Phase 2 Recovery
• Medication management via Pyxis
• Documentation via Epic EMR
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Call required once per week overnight and every 5th or 6th weekend
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of IR Tech experience preferred; 2 years preferred per facility standards
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in Y-90 chemo delivery, GI bleed management, TPA, vein sampling, and Phase 2 Recovery required
• Experience with biopsies, peripheral vascular, endovascular, pulmonary, GU/Renal, and stent placement procedures
• Active professional license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Former permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must have been separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months before being eligible, and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
