American Traveler is hiring an Endoscopy Tech for a hospital-based GI/Endoscopy unit in Paducah, KY, with a Monday–Friday day shift schedule and on-call rotation requirements.

Details

• Hospital-based Endoscopy unit setting
• Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• After-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call rotation required
• 40 hours per week, 5 days per week

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• BLS certification preferred
• Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist program preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Set up endoscopy cases with appropriate equipment and supplies based on the procedure type
• Assist with attaching patient monitors and supporting the physician and RN throughout procedures
• Clean procedure rooms, restock supplies, and perform routine maintenance on endoscopy equipment
• Report malfunctioning scopes and equipment to the Charge RN, Biomed, or Manager and coordinate scope shipping as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors throughout the scope process
• Respond effectively in emergency situations
• Flexibility to float to other areas or units as needed
• Candidate must provide MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration
