American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a 13-week assignment in a radiology ultrasound department at a critical access hospital in Brevard, NC, requiring RDMS certification with ABD, RVT, and OB/GYN credentials.

Details

• Radiology Ultrasound department within a critical access hospital with 52 beds
• Unit is staffed with approximately 3 ultrasound techs when fully staffed, as part of a broader radiology team of 20
• All GE ultrasound equipment used throughout the department
• Cerner EMR with Philips PACS
• Procedures include all routine exams within ABD, RVT, and OB/GYN skill sets, as well as biopsies, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
• 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM

Requirements

• RDMS certification required, with ABD, RVT, and OB/GYN credentials
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum of 6 months of active experience within the last 6 months in ultrasound/sonography
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration; no Canadian SSNs accepted
• One professional reference required (two references required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates will be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
