American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Madras, OR, with on-call requirements and experience in specialized procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, and thyroid biopsy/FNA.

Details

• Works in a 35-bed hospital with a 14-bed ED
• Ultrasound department with general sonography focus
• Specialized procedures include paracentesis, thoracentesis, and thyroid biopsy/FNA
• Primary equipment includes GE E10/s
• Epic EMR experience required
• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, though schedule is subject to change based on department needs
• On-call is required
• May float to other nearby north clinics (Madras and Prineville) within scope as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound technologist experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Experience with paracentesis, thoracentesis, and thyroid biopsy/FNA procedures required
• Oregon state license required — license required if applicable (estimated 1-week processing time; pending licensure considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; proof of address required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered; candidates will be screened based on relevant experience
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off permitted during the 13-week assignment
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
