American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal Fetal / OB-GYN sonography for a mobile outreach role requiring 5+ years of experience and Fetal Echo certification across multiple New Mexico clinic locations.

Details

• Mobile outreach position serving clinic locations in Gallup, Farmington, and Santa Fe, NM
• Sonographer departs daily from the Albuquerque base clinic at 5:15 AM and returns between 6:30–7:00 PM
• A driver transports the sonographer on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; the sonographer drives the outreach van on Tuesdays (Gallup) and Fridays (Santa Fe)
• Patient population consists of pregnant women requiring low and high-level women's imaging
• Equipment includes GE E22, GE E10, and GE S10 ultrasound machines
• Charting is performed in Cerner
• 4x10-hour day shifts; shift times account for travel between facilities
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of sonography experience
• ARDMS OB/GYN, ARDMS (general), and ARDMS FE (Fetal Echo) certifications required
• Current BLS certification required
• NM State License required (if applicable); pending state license accepted
• Must be able to work independently without direct supervision
• Must be able to drive the outreach van on designated days (safe driving module completion required)
• Candidates must reside in Albuquerque; locals within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible

Additional Information

• Perform low and high-level OB/GYN ultrasound imaging for pregnant patients across multiple outreach clinic sites
• Must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a small traveling team
• Sonographer will park at and clock in/out from the Eubank Clinic base location where the outreach vans are staged
• This is a Level I Trauma, academic teaching, and children's hospital system with 554 staffed beds
• Scrub color is burgundy
• Parking is provided at no cost
