American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist with 10 years of experience to work in a Neurodiagnostic Lab supporting a Level IV Comprehensive Epilepsy Program on a 13-week travel contract.

Details

• Work in a Neurodiagnostic Lab within a Level IV Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at an academic medical center
• 6-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) with continuous and intermittent monitoring
• Coverage extends to 4 additional locations within the system
• Adult patient population
• Monday–Saturday rotating days
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of EEG technologist experience
• BLS certification required (must be AHA)
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

• Performs setup and preparation of equipment and supplies for ordered diagnostic tests
• Reviews patient history, obtains necessary documentation, and provides patient education prior to procedures
• Monitors and documents patient condition throughout procedures and reports any adverse reactions
• Operates and maintains EEG (Electroencephalography), EP (Evoked Potential), and PSG (Polysomnography) equipment
• Recognizes and corrects for artifacts during monitoring
• Scores, graphs, documents, and reports results of diagnostic procedures
