American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Alaska, with first-time travelers welcome.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in a Mammography department
• Magnet facility, Level II Trauma Center, and USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska with 407 staffed beds
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Charting in Epic EMR
• Free on-site parking available
• Floating between facilities within Alaska may be required; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Mammography Technologist experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active professional license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Block scheduling can be accommodated
• RTO requests are evaluated on an individual basis and must be disclosed at the time of submission
• Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
