Description

American Traveler is hiring an EP Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in an EP Lab, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARRT or RCES certification.

Details

• Work in a high-volume EP Lab setting within a dedicated heart hospital
• 1:1 patient ratio per procedure room
• Team of 3-4 staff per procedure, including a mix of techs, RNs, a supervisor, and anesthesia
• Procedures include standard device implants, EP ablation cases (excluding VT), and high-volume Watchman procedures
• Philips imaging equipment used
• Meditech EMR
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call is required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of EP Lab experience
• ARRT or RCES certification required
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) license required if applicable
• Active BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Must have active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

• Experience scrubbing (2+ years) is preferred
• Experience monitoring with Claris is preferred
• This is a fast-paced, high-volume lab that values a strong sense of urgency
• Hospital scrubs are provided
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates will be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
