American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring ARRT MR certification and 2 years of experience or 3 travel assignments.

Details

• Work in the MRI Body unit of a clinic setting
• 13-week assignment with Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts
• No call, no overnights, and no holiday coverage required
• Day shift rotates between 6:30 AM–3:00 PM and 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Evening shift available from 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
• Contracts are assigned to either day shift or evening shift, not both
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Graduate of an ARRT approved or recognized Health Science program
• ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) required
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• 2 years of MRI experience required, and/or 3 total travel assignments
• Neuro MRI, Abdominal MRI, and/or MSK MRI experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must have an active license with no pending status permitted
• License required if applicable
• Strong organizational and multifunctional skills required
• Ability to work independently required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required

• Demonstrate competence with a variety of MRI equipment and technology
• Follow safety guidelines for self, support personnel, and patients
• Foster teamwork through effective communication
• Maintain flexibility to work various shift times and lengths as needed
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census
• COVID vaccination and booster required for eligibility
• Travelers may remain on assignment up to one calendar year from the initial start date, followed by a required break before returning to a new assignment
