American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week OR float pool position at a high-capacity academic medical center in Boston, MA, working a 4x10 day/evening rotation.

Details

• OR float pool unit at a large, high-capacity academic medical center in Boston, MA
• 4x10 or 4x12 day/evening rotation; evening shifts run 1p–11p, day shifts run 7a–5:30p (M, T, Th, F) and 9a–7:30p (W)
• Travelers will primarily be placed on evenings based on skill alignment, with days scheduled when evening needs are not present
• Includes 2 weeks of night shifts per contract
• Weekend shifts are scheduled as 12-hour shifts, with remaining weekday hours adjusted to meet contracted weekly hours
• At least 2 short call shifts included per 4-week scheduling cycle
• EMR: Epic (charting experience relevant to this setting)

Requirements

• CST certification from NBSTSA or NCCT required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Experience in a high-capacity operating room required
• Active Massachusetts (MA) license required if applicable; no pending licenses accepted
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

• Float pool assignment covering multiple OR specialties across a large academic medical center
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local and may be eligible at a adjusted rate
• No validated parking available at Boston location; public parking costs approximately $17–$22 per day; public transportation is an option
• Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos
