American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with VA or Compact license, ARRT (T), and 2+ years of experience for a hospital Radiation Oncology department operating Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators.

Details

• Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology department
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Daily caseload of 30–40 patients
• Administer treatments on Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators
• Uses ARIA for electronic medical records; Epic experience preferred
• Monday–Friday day shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (5x8s)
• 13-week contract with potential to extend

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact Radiation Therapist license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Current BLS and ARRT (T) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience
• Proficiency in CBCT, kV, and mV imaging
• Experience with IMRT and Electron Beam Therapy dosimetry systems
• Experience with specialty treatments including Electron Field, Respiratory Gating/Breath Hold for Left Breast, Heterotopic Bone, Superior Vena Cava, Gynecomastia, and Prophylactic Treatments
• Experience with specialty conditions including Keloids and Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials
• Hands-on experience with Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
• Experience with ARIA documentation system; Epic experience preferred
