American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with experience in high-volume, Level 1 trauma environments for a 13-week contract position.

Details

• Work in the CT department of a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center specializing in stroke and burn cases
• Department has 3 scanners in the Emergency Care Center, 2 for inpatient use, and 1 on the neuro floor used overnight
• GE scanners in use — 2 on an older platform and 5 on the Revolution scanner platform
• Epic EMR in use
• Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts per week)
• Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling is generally not approved

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state license required if applicable
• Experience in high-volume, large-scale trauma environments is required — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
• Demonstrated ability to manage critical, fast-paced, high-acuity situations
• Background working with diverse and severe trauma cases
