Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant with at least 2 years of hospital OR experience and active compact licensure for a 13-week travel assignment in Derry, NH.

Details

• Hospital OR setting with 4 operating rooms
• Surgical specialties include General, Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, and Breast procedures
• Robotic surgery cases performed using the Da Vinci Xi and Globus robotic systems
• Documentation via Expanse EMR
• Schedule is 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, 3 days per week
• Call required 2 days per week and every 4th weekend (48 hours)
• No floating requirement

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital OR setting
• Active compact license required; NH Medical Technologist license required — license required if applicable
• CST certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Robotic surgical experience required
• Spine experience required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Active work experience within the last 6 months in this role required

Additional Information

• Serve as a surgical first assistant across a range of OR cases including General, Ortho, ENT, Urology, and Breast
• Assist with robotic-assisted procedures using the Da Vinci Xi and Globus systems
• Patient ratios are dependent on the procedure
• Certifications must be from AHA or ARC and may not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
