American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with labor and delivery experience for a 13-week travel position in a hospital LDRP unit.

Details

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) unit with 7 beds
• Patient ratios vary based on acuity
• Unit staffed with 2 RNs and 1 surgical tech
• OB/GYN patient population
• Procedures performed include vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&E, D&C, tubal ligation, vaginal repair, and hysterectomy
• Uses GE equipment
• Documentation completed in Epic
• Scheduling is as needed
• May be floated to other units as needed when census is low
• 13-week assignment with a 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shift

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Certified Surgical Technologist credential required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Knowledge and experience working in a labor and delivery setting required
• License required if applicable
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs provided as part of the dress code
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
