American Traveler is hiring an Electrophysiology Lab Technologist with EP lab experience, Epic proficiency, and active ARRT(R) or CCI RCES/RCIS certification for a 13-week contract at an acute care Level I Trauma Center.

• EP Lab setting within an acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center with American College of Cardiology accreditation for PCI procedures
• Facility operates six state-of-the-art cath labs performing thousands of advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures annually, supported by cardiac surgery and hybrid ORs
• Adult patient population with complex cardiac and electrophysiology cases
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) and one 8-hour shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) per week
• Rotating late shifts required; all staff participate in staying late if a case extends into the evening
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• EP lab closes on facility holidays
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Current BLS and ACLS required
• ARRT(R) with Virginia state license OR CCI RCES/RCIS certification required; any active state license (in hand or pending) is accepted — Virginia will grant emergency authorization to travelers with a license in process
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year EP Lab experience required, including EP mapping
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy, Siemens, Philips, ultrasound, Carto, EnSite, and Cardiolab systems
• Sterile technique, EKG lead placement, dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation, and general cardiac background required
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, equipment handling, and supply management
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates living 50–99.9 miles from the facility are eligible for one 13-week contract
• Candidates must reside a minimum of 50 miles from the facility per the address on their driver's license
• Must be available to work or take call for one holiday during the 13-week contract, in rotation with staff
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
