American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of radiology experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in the greater Boston area.

Details

• CT Scan department within an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT registration as RT(R) or RT(N) required; CT registry preferred — if CT license is not held at time of hire, it must be obtained within one year
• Active MA state radiation control board license required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location)
• IV insertion and removal skills required
• License required if applicable
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Performs a variety of CT procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation
• Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images and is responsible for IV insertion and removal
• All procedures are performed in accordance with federal, state, local, and hospital policies
• Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients is preferred
• Timekeeping is performed via UKG/Kronos
• Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and will receive a reduced travel pay rate
• Start date is contingent upon credentialing clearance; if clearance is not obtained by the posted start date, a rescheduled start date will be required
