American Traveler is hiring a Travel IR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Aurora, CO, requiring a minimum of 6 months of current IR Tech experience and ARRT or VI certification.

Details

• Located in the main hospital building within the Spine/IR unit, which includes 2 IR suites in a 272-bed facility
• IR team consists of 4 techs and 6 RNs, with day shift staffed by 4 techs and 4–5 RNs; night shift is on-call
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 3:1
• Procedures include neuro drains, complex cases such as air spheres and tumor ablation, ortho/spine, and thrombectomy
• GE equipment used; EMR is Meditech (prior experience preferred)
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
• On-call requirement of approximately 10–12 shifts per month
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current IR Tech experience within the last 6 months
• VI certification preferred; ARRT (R) accepted
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Neuro experience and thrombectomy center background preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• License required if applicable
