Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified OB Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel assignment at a 536-bed acute care teaching hospital.

Details

• Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 total staff beds
• Certified OB Tech unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling required
• No on-call required
• On-call and floating between units within this assignment is not required, however all travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state
• Epic EMR used; experience required
• OR scrubs are provided; all other units allow any color scrubs
• No parking fee

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in OB
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active professional license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal to no RTO is expected for this position
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including location and dates, as part of the consideration process
