Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with 2+ years of experience and Varian equipment proficiency for a 13-week travel assignment in a Radiation Oncology department in Richmond, VA.

Details

• Outpatient-focused Radiation Oncology department, with minimal inpatient cases transported via ambulance service
• Treats 35–40 patients per day using standard treatment as well as SRS and SBRT
• CT simulations performed at a rate of 3–4 per day
• Equipment includes Varian TrueBeam, Varian Trilogy, and OSMS
• EMR system is ARIA 15.5
• Day shift schedule, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active ARRT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of start)
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy, with active experience within the last 6 months
• Hands-on experience with Varian equipment required
• Proficiency in 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and SRS treatments
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

• Experience with ARIA 15.5 EMR is preferred
• Candidates must be willing to work across different machine types as needed
• Scrubs required; no color restriction
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
