American Traveler is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment at an acute care hospital OR, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital operating room setting with a daily census of 25 patients across 8 OR suites
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call is required as part of this assignment
• Floating between all facilities within the state is required
• Weekend scheduling is based on the needs of the unit
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical technologist experience required; 5 years preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• CA state license preferred; pending license accepted
• BLS certification required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• License required if applicable
• A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs or business casual attire is acceptable
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment
• All RTO requests must be disclosed prior to submission; requests made after submission or offer may be denied
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Refusal to float may result in assignment termination
