American Traveler is hiring a travel X-Ray Technologist with 1-3 years of experience for a radiology position requiring an active NJ RT License and ARRT certification.

Details

• Outpatient radiology setting across multiple clinic locations in northern/central New Jersey
• Technologist is assigned to one site per day — no same-day travel between locations
• Potential work locations include Wayne, Bridgewater, Rockaway, Warren, Basking Ridge, Clark, New Providence, and Morristown, NJ
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM day shift
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
• No on-call required
• Epic used for charting
• May float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Active NJ State RT License required
• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency with a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• 2 references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure patient safety, comfort, and procedural appropriateness
• Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures and assess the need for revisions
• Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, and strong oral and written communication skills are essential
• Knowledge of current trends in clinical practice, healthcare informatics, and imaging technology is expected
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from the initial start date; a break is required before returning to a new assignment
