American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for an evening shift hospital position requiring 3+ years of independent scanning experience and NY state licensure with injection privileges.

Details

• 450-bed acute care hospital MRI department
• Responsible for scanning inpatient, ICU, and ER patients
• Routine MRI exams; not responsible for breast MRI, cardiac MRI, or prostate MRI
• Equipment includes a 3T Siemens Skyra and a 1.5T Siemens Symphony
• EMR: Epic
• Monday–Friday evening shifts, preferred hours 5:00 PM–1:00 AM or 4:00 PM–12:00 AM
• No holiday or weekend requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of MRI experience with the ability to scan independently
• ARRT (MR) preferred or ARMRIT certification
• NY state MRI license with injection privileges required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency with routine MRI exams and experience scanning inpatient, ICU, and ER patients
• License required if applicable
