American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position in a hospital-based CT department embedded within a large ER, requiring a minimum of 3 years of independent CT experience and ARRT certification with NY state licensure.

Details

• CT department is located inside a 40+ bed Emergency Room
• Patient population consists primarily of ER patients, with some ICU and inpatient cases
• All CT scans performed except cardiac
• Operates a Philips Brilliance 64-slice CT scanner
• Uses Epic EMR (EMH Epic)
• Sunday through Thursday night shift, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Holiday coverage required for Labor Day (9/6)

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–4 years of CT Technologist experience
• Must be 100% independent and competent in all CT scans (excluding cardiac)
• ARRT certification required
• New York state license with IV injection authorization required; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• References required for consideration
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Works independently alongside an imaging aide to perform all CT scans
• Local candidates are accepted for this position in New York
