American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab / Rad Tech with required Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience for a 4x10 day shift contract in Normal, IL.

Details

• Cardiac Catheterization and Special Procedures unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population includes those requiring invasive cardiology or invasive radiology studies
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• On-call rotation includes every 3rd weekend and 1-2 weekdays per week
• Holidays covered via call rotation
• EMR: Epic charting experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience
• Associate's Degree in a related field OR Certificate in Radiologic Technology
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association), ARRT (Radiography), and IEMA Radiography License (Illinois)
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• License required if applicable
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Neuro Interventional and EP experience are preferred
• Responsibilities include assisting physicians during invasive procedures, administering contrast material via IV line or venipuncture, and assessing patients for allergies and hypersensitivity reactions
• Functions as both scrub and monitor technician on a rotating basis
• Demonstrates competence in imaging, physiological monitoring, and related equipment, including basic troubleshooting
• Candidate interviews are conducted by Carle Health leadership
• Candidates who have been on continuous assignment with Carle Health for 1 year must take a 6-month break before returning to any Carle Health location
• RTO not to exceed 7 days for the duration of the contract
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
