American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week OR Float pool assignment on a 4x10 Day/Evening rotation at a prestigious academic medical center in Boston, MA.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital OR Float pool setting, covering a variety of surgical specialties and cases
• Primary schedule is a 4x10 Day/Evening rotation; Day/Night rotation may be considered for the right candidate
• Evening shift hours are 1p–11p; Day shift hours are 7a–5:30p (M, T, Th, F) and 9a–7:30p (W)
• Contract includes 2 weeks of nights and at least 2 short calls per 4-week schedule, with weekend coverage required
• When scheduled on weekends, shifts convert to 12-hour shifts with adjusted weekday hours to meet contracted hours
• Charting is performed in Epic

Requirements

• CST certification from NBSTSA or NCCT is required
• All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Active Massachusetts (MA) state license required; no pending licenses accepted — license required if applicable
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted

Additional Information

• Candidates whose permanent residence is within 60 miles of the facility in Boston may be considered but are subject to a reduced pay rate
• No validated parking is available at the Boston location; public transportation is encouraged, and public parking lots are available at the candidate's expense
• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
• RTO requests must be disclosed prior to or at the time of consideration
