American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a Diagnostic Radiology position requiring 2+ years of experience, with strong skills in portable, trauma, and OR imaging.

Details

• Work in a Diagnostic Radiology (DX) department within a large 800-bed acute care hospital
• Unit is located on the 2nd floor of the F Tower
• Hospital serves as the region's referral center and only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, Level III NICU, and children's hospital
• Procedures include all diagnostic imaging, portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical imaging
• Equipment includes GE radiology rooms, GE and Shiatzu portables, OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arms
• EMR is Cerner Rad Net
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday through Sunday
• Weekend rotation required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Proficiency in all areas of diagnostic radiology including portable and OR imaging
• ED trauma imaging experience required
• Fluoroscopic procedure experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)

• Perform diagnostic imaging across all modalities including portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical settings
• Day shift staffing includes 16 technologists and a supervisor; evening shift includes 10 technologists, 2 student techs, and a supervisor
• Ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who can also work independently
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
