American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist for a Diagnostic Radiology position requiring 2+ years of experience, with skills in all areas of DX radiology including portable, OR, and ED trauma imaging.

Details

• Located in a large 800-bed acute care hospital in Asheville, NC
• Assignment is in the Diagnostic Radiology (Imaging DX) department on the 2nd floor of the F Tower
• Evening shift, 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM, Friday through Sunday
• 13-week contract
• Equipment includes GE rad rooms, GE and Shiatzu portables, OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arms
• EMR is Cerner Rad Net
• Procedures include all diagnostic imaging, portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical/OR imaging
• Weekend rotation required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Skills in all areas of DX radiology, including portable and OR imaging, are required
• ED trauma imaging experience required
• License required if applicable
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two references required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

• Fluoroscopic procedure experience is preferred
• Must be a team player who can also work independently and is self-motivated
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
