Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with 5+ years of CVOR experience and open heart surgery background for a hospital-based CVOR position at a tertiary care or trauma center facility.

Details

• Hospital-based CVOR unit at a tertiary care center and/or designated Level I or II trauma center
• Primarily CVOR cases with the possibility of floating to the general OR as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of CVOR experience required
• Open heart surgery experience required
• Experience at a tertiary care center and/or designated Level I or II trauma center required
• Willingness and ability to float to the general OR when needed
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Active NBSTSA certification required
• License required if applicable
• Current skills checklist (within the last year) pertinent to CVOR required for consideration
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
