American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of recent MRI experience and ARRT-MR certification for an evening shift position in an inpatient/outpatient hospital setting.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI unit serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Adult patient population
• Evening shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Procedures include abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), perfusion, gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, multiplanar reconstruction, spin echo images, surface coils, and T-1/T-2 weighted images
• Experience with breast MRI, cardiovascular MRI, and Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP) preferred
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment required; GE, Hitachi, Philips, or Toshiba experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Isolation precautions experience required
• Hurricane sign-up is required as part of this position
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to be considered at a local rate

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent MRI experience required
• ARRT-MR certification required
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC required
• FL RN license or compact license required if applicable
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Adult care experience required
• Successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and screening for disqualifying offenses, is required
• Proof of vaccination status required; declinations are not accepted

• Perform MRI studies across a broad range of body systems including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and musculoskeletal, with preferred experience in breast and cardiovascular imaging
• Adhere to isolation precaution protocols as applicable
