American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and Hologic equipment proficiency for a 13-week contract at a university-affiliated acute care hospital in Colton, CA.

• Primary work setting is a hospital-based mammography department, with potential floating to up to 2 affiliated outpatient clinics as scheduling requires
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM day shifts
• 40 hours per week with no weekend or on-call requirements
• Uses Hologic mammography equipment
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current Mammography Technologist experience required
• Hologic equipment experience required
• Active AHA BLS required
• Active ARRT certification required
• Active CA Fluoroscopy Permit required
• CA Mammography Certification and/or ARRT Mammography certification required
• Active California state license required (license required if applicable)
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Mammography skills checklist required for consideration
• 1 supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required for consideration
• All licenses and certifications must be current

Additional Information

• The facility is a 456-bed, university-affiliated teaching hospital and Level II trauma center with a regional burn center, primary stroke center, behavioral health center, and over 40 outpatient specialty care services
• RTO requests must be disclosed upfront and may not exceed 5 days for the contract
• Previous travelers and first-time travelers may be considered; previous travel experience is highly preferred
• An interview is required prior to placement
