American Traveler is seeking a Certified OB Surgical Tech for a night shift position at a 536-bed academic teaching hospital, with Epic EMR experience required.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 536 total staff beds
• Certified OB Tech unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend is required
• Block scheduling is required
• No floating between units within this facility
• No on-call requirement
• Epic EMR is used

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified OB Surgical Tech
• Epic EMR experience required
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required
• License required if applicable
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• This is a teaching hospital environment
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Scrubs are provided for OR/Cath Lab; any color scrubs are acceptable for other areas
• No parking fees at this facility
• Travelers at this system may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• All RTO requests must be submitted prior to or at the time of consideration; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
