American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical First Assistant with neuro and plastics experience for a hospital OR position requiring prior travel experience.

Details

• Hospital OR setting in a Certified Surgical First Assistant role
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Weekday call required (4–6 call days)
• Weekend coverage required (3–5 weekend days per six-week period)
• Holiday coverage as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical First Assistant
• Neuro and plastics surgical experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA certification required
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained

Additional Information

• Assist surgeons during neurosurgery and plastic surgery procedures
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront for consideration
• 13-week contract assignment
