American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ED Observation Unit position in Billings, MT, requiring 1 year of relevant experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• ED Observation Unit at a regional hospital in Billings, MT
• Variable 12-hour shifts with potential option for straight days or nights depending on unit needs
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an ED Observation or equivalent specialty setting
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (must not expire prior to start date)
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for observation patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans and documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
• BSN is preferred but not required
