Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Nurse Navigator for a 26-week travel assignment requiring an active CA RN license and Cerner EMR experience.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting within a hospital environment
• Nurse Navigator unit
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
• 5x8-hour shifts per week, with end time varying based on clinic hours
• No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required
• At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in a Nurse Navigator or equivalent specialty within the past 2 years required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must pass an EKG exam (up to 3 attempts allowed)
• At least one supervisory, director, or manager reference from the past year on the applicable unit required
• A second professional reference within the past 2 years (charge nurse, co-worker, or educator accepted)

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• No RTO (requested time off) permitted within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; all RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and cannot be changed once submitted
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler; prior employment should be disclosed at the time of consideration and may require facility approval
