American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Rad Technician (ARRT) with at least 1 year of cardiovascular lab experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital cardiology unit.

Details

• Hospital-based cardiovascular/cardiac cath lab setting within a cardiology unit
• Performs both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a cardiovascular lab or interventional radiology department
• ARRT-R and state license (if applicable), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required
• ARRT-CI (Cardiac Interventional Technologist) or ARRT-VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist), or RCIS required
• BLS required (AHA or Red Cross accepted)
• ACLS required (AHA or Red Cross accepted)
• Proficient computer skills required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Assists the cardiologist or radiologist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and/or therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
• Responsible for ensuring procedure rooms are adequately prepared and maintaining par levels of instruments and supplies
• Participates in departmental staff meetings, performance improvement activities, and training of new staff
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is preferred
• Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the free CDC resource
