American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PCU/Telemetry position requiring ACLS and NIH certifications, working night shifts at a Texas facility.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Broad range of medical conditions and patient populations
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Floating to other floors or a secondary campus may be required

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• Must reside 150+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Deliver individualized nursing care using the nursing process, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes
• The facility conducts its own drug screening upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result will result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid all substances that could trigger a positive result, including CBD products, prior to and during the assignment
