American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with 1+ year of clinical experience, ARRT(T), and linear accelerator proficiency for a 13-week hospital-based assignment in Florence, SC.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiation Therapy department
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 10:30am–6:30pm (earlier shift possible)
• Daily caseload of 25–40 patients
• No on-call or floating requirements
• Uses Aria and Align RT / Vision RT for charting and treatment management
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Weekends required only under exceptional circumstances such as inclement weather
• Free parking on-site

Requirements

• Active South Carolina Radiation Therapist license required (candidates with a pending license will be considered, but must be active before reporting to the facility)
• Current BLS (AHA only), ARRT(T), and SCARQSA certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical radiation therapy experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Proficiency with linear accelerator operation required
• CT/SIM experience preferred
• Experience with Aria and Vision RT preferred
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All requested time off must be disclosed upfront; approval is based on facility needs
• Orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date
• Scrub colors required: black pants with teal top, or all-black
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November, peak months August–September), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties
• A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency, as the facility does not supply them to travelers
