American Traveler is hiring a Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist for a night shift travel contract, accepting first-time travelers with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Details

• Polysomnography / Sleep Tech unit within a hospital setting
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of polysomnography / sleep tech experience required
• Active professional licensure required, if applicable
• Copies of relevant certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• RTO is capped at 7 days and cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work those holidays and no holiday RTO will be approved; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two of them and one holiday RTO request may be submitted for approval
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities in this health system for a minimum of one full year before returning as a travel employee
• No alternate shift or schedule change requests are permitted — the posted shift is firm
• Travel pairs will not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
