American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 1+ year of experience and ARDMS registration to work a weekend-focused schedule across multiple ultrasound modalities.

Details

• Hospital-based ultrasound department
• Scanning modalities include General, OB/GYN, Vascular, and Pediatric ultrasound — Echo is excluded
• Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3x12-hour day shifts)
• No on-call requirements
• Sonographer will frequently work independently during portions of the shift
• Uses Philips ultrasound equipment
• Meditech EMR — experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of sonography experience required
• ARDMS registration required
• Proficiency scanning all general ultrasound modalities including General, OB/GYN, Vascular, and Pediatric
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
• Experience with Philips ultrasound equipment preferred
• Active KY or compact license required if applicable
• DOB and SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• AHA certifications required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered, provided they are experienced sonographers
• Flu vaccine is required — no exemptions will be accepted
• Candidates may be subject to an on-site drug screen on the first day of the assignment
• Candidates located within 65 miles of the facility will not be accepted
