American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 1-2+ years of acute care experience for a 13-week assignment in Elko, NV.

Details

• Work in the Ultrasound department of a 75-bed Joint Commission-accredited regional hospital
• Patient population includes adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
• Cases include ER, OB, and MSP patient types
• Uses GE Logiq e10 ultrasound equipment
• Day shift, 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 10 call shifts per month from 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility
• ARDMS registration required
• AHA certifications required
• Proficiency in general sonography required; experience with OB and abdominal sonography preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform general sonography with a preference for candidates experienced in OB and abdominal ultrasound
• Orientation takes place on Mondays
• Any scrub color is acceptable
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
